Bishop Nigel's Pilgrimage went to Holy Trinity Platt for the Sunday morning service on May 8th, 2009.
The service of Pilgrimage and blessing had a superb response and involved many and varied members of the community.
Revd. Steve James led the welcome and present were the MP Sir Gerald Kauffman and residents of Platt Park, who gathered together with the Bishop over cheese and wine as part of the celebrations.
The Bishop also met with staff at Manchester City Academy and their representative Jim Cassell as well as a number of local students and residents.
The service was received with great support and was remembered as a 'Sunday which was inspiring -many people still wearing their badges a year later!'
